New Delhi, March 25, 2026 – Punjab National Bank (PNB), one of India’s leading public sector banks, has announced a change in its Statutory Central Auditors (SCAs) for the financial year 2025-26. This update comes in accordance with the Reserve Bank of India (RBI) directive and in compliance with SEBI (LODR) Regulations, 2015.

The bank confirmed that M/s P S D & Associates, Chartered Accountants, has ceased to be part of the team of SCAs with immediate effect, following RBI’s letter Ref: DOS.ARG.No.59687/08:10:003/2025-26 dated March 25, 2026.

 

The following firms will continue their role as SCAs for PNB for the financial year 2025-26:

  • M/s Ummed Jain & Co., Mumbai (FRN 119250W, UCN 290292) – Serving as SCA for the 3rd consecutive year
  • M/s N K Bhargava & Co., Delhi (FRN 000429N, UCN 005772)
  • M/s Prem Gupta & Co., Delhi (FRN 000425N, UCN 101128)
  • M/s P A & Associates, Odisha (FRN 313085E, UCN 260118)

 

PNB has submitted this information in compliance with Regulation 30 and 51 of SEBI (LODR) Regulations, 2015, ensuring timely disclosure to the stock exchanges. The requisite disclosure is available in Annexure I of the official notice issued by the bank.

Company Secretary of PNB, Bikramjit Shorn, stated, “This change in our Statutory Central Auditors has been made in line with RBI instructions. The continued engagement of our existing SCAs ensures stability, transparency, and robust auditing practices at PNB.”

The bank operates its headquarters at Plot No. 4, Sector 10, Dwarka, New Delhi – 110075, and continues to uphold its commitment to compliance, corporate governance, and investor transparency
