Ujjivan Small Finance Bank Appoints Vikas Agrawal as Business Head – MSME
Ujjivan Small Finance Bank has appointed Vikas Agrawal as Business Head – MSME, effective September 1, 2026, bringing more than 25 years of banking experience across MSME, business banking, retail banking, credit, product and distribution.
The bank announced the appointment in a regulatory filing with the stock exchanges on September 1.
Agrawal is a Chartered Accountant and has held senior leadership roles across banking businesses. He began his career with Bank of Rajasthan and UTI Bank before spending more than two decades with ICICI Bank.
Vikas Agrawal's MSME Experience
At ICICI Bank, Agrawal led the MSME Product business nationally, where he worked on new product lines and simplified credit processes designed to enable faster decision-making and improve understanding of MSME businesses beyond their financial statements.
He also led the bank's Gold Loan Product nationally and introduced a technology-enabled workflow in 2015. According to Ujjivan SFB, the workflow continues to be used across ICICI Bank branches by more than 20,000 users.
His experience spans business building, product innovation, credit and distribution, along with developing high-performing teams.
Appointment Takes Effect From September 1
Agrawal joined Ujjivan Small Finance Bank as Business Head – MSME on September 1, 2026.
The bank said the appointment forms part of its senior management and disclosed the development under the applicable SEBI Listing Obligations and Disclosure Requirements (LODR) Regulations.
The filing states that Agrawal has no relationship with the directors of the bank.

The appointment brings an experienced banking executive with a long track record in MSME and business banking into a role focused specifically on the bank's MSME business.
