KPI Green Energy Receives Letter of Intent for Group Captive Renewable Energy Partnership

Mumbai, 1 September 2026: KPI Green Energy Limited has received a Letter of Intent (LOI) for the development of a Wind-Solar Hybrid Power Project under a Group Captive arrangement.

The project comprises 33.6 MW of wind capacity and 33.6 MW AC / 43 MW DC of solar capacity, aggregating to 33.6 / 76.6 MW DC capacity, and will be developed for a reputed customer under the Group Captive framework.

This order supports the company's strategy of expanding through IPP, group captive, and EPC opportunities while delivering long-term stakeholder value.

The project strengthens the company's presence in the C&I and Group Captive renewable energy segments, enhances its wind, solar, and hybrid capabilities, and adds to its order book.

The nature of the order includes the establishment of a Special Purpose Vehicle (SPV) for development, ownership, and operation of a 33.6/76.6 MW DC wind-solar hybrid power project in Gujarat under a group captive arrangement.

The company has to complete project development, construction, and commissioning within 14 months from Stage-2 connectivity (and in any case, latest by 31st December 2027); the term is 25 years from the commencement date of the energy supply agreement.
