7 Indian Economic Service officers elevated to Joint Secretary Level (NFU)

New Delhi: As many as Seven Indian Economic Service (IES) officers belonging to the 2007 Batch have been granted the non-functional Up-gradation to Senior Administrative Grade i.e. Joint Secretary-level with effect from 01.04.2025.

The following officers are given JS-level scale:

Chandrani Gupta, Chief Vigilance Officer at Braithwaite, Burn & Jessop Construction Company, Department of Heavy Industries

Bhumika Verma, Director at the Department of Expenditure.

Swayamprava Pani, Additional Development Commissioner, office of Development Commissioner (Handlooms), Ministry of Textiles

Prasanth C, Director at BIMSTEC Secretariat

Mukesh Kumar, Director at President's Secretariat.

Urmila, Deputy Secretary in NITI Aayog.

Praveen Kumar, Director at Department of Commerce.
