ONGC Pipavav Supply Base Marks One Year of Transforming Offshore Logistics

Mumbai, 10th March 2026: Oil and Natural Gas Corporation (ONGC) celebrates one year of operational excellence at its Pipavav Supply Base (PSB), its second independent offshore supply hub, which was inaugurated on 10th March 2025.

Since its launch, PSB has emerged as a strategic center for streamlining offshore logistics, supporting ONGC’s operations in the Tapti, Daman, and Mumbai High fields. The base has successfully handled the first flagged-off vessel, MV Greatship Dhwani, and commissioned modern warehouses, storage yards, and integrated shore base management facilities.

Key achievements over the past year include:

  • Reduced vessel turnaround time – just 8 hours

  • Faster voyage routes for offshore operations

  • Higher draft (14 m) to accommodate larger vessels

  • Modern infrastructure with advanced cargo handling facilities

  • Decongestion of Nhava Supply Base, improving overall efficiency

PSB efficiently manages deck cargo, cement, barite, fuel, chemicals, and other offshore materials, significantly strengthening ONGC’s offshore capabilities and contributing to India’s energy security.

ONGC’s Pipavav Supply Base continues to exemplify operational excellence, setting the stage for many more years of powering India’s energy journey.
