A. Shah promoted and empanelled as Principal CC at CBIC
Amand Shah, an officer of the Indian Revenue Service (Customs & Indirect Taxes) from the 1991 batch, has been promoted and empanelled to the position of Principal Chief Commissioner of Customs and Indirect Taxes.
He will hold this grade at Level 17 of the Pay Matrix (HAG). A regular posting will be announced in due course with the approval of the Competent Authority. In the meantime, he will assume charge of the new position on an in situ (as is where is) basis.
