ACC approves major appointments and recommendations in ministry
Shri Chandra Sekhar Kumar, IAS (OR:1992), Secretary, Ministry of Minority taken additional charge of the post of Secretary, National Commission for Minorities, Ministry of Minority Affairs
The Competent Authority has approved assignment of additional charge of the post of Secretary, National Commission for Minorities, Ministry of Minority Affairs to Shri Chandra Sekhar Kumar, IAS (OR:1992), Secretary, Ministry of Minority Affairs from 22.11.2025 to 03.12.2025 during the period of absence on leave of Ms. Alka Upadhyaya, IAS (MP:1990).
Further, the government has approved the recommendations of the Civil Services Board (CSB) for lateral Shift of Shri Parthasarathy Bhaskar Devarakonda, IRS (C&IT:2012), presently working as Deputy Secretary, D/o Administrative Reforms & Public Grievances as Deputy Secretary in the Cabinet Secretariat under the Central Staffing Scheme on 'lateral shift' basis for a tenure upto 22.06.2026 (i.e. balance period of his four year deputation tenure under Central Staffing Scheme at Deputy Secretary level) or until further orders, whichever is earlier.
