Centre Announces Eight Major Administrative Appointments, Effective January 14
New Delhi: Key government appointments and administrative decisions announced today include:
Rakesh Aggarwal (IPS: 1994: HP), Special Director General, National Investigation Agency, has been appointed as Director General, National Investigation Agency, at Level-16 of the Pay Matrix, from the date of assumption of charge till 31.08.2028 or until further orders.
Praveen Kumar (IPS: 1993: WB), Director General, ITBP, has been appointed as Director General, Border Security Force, at Level-16 of the Pay Matrix, from the date of assumption of charge till 30.09.2030 or until further orders.
Shatrujeet Singh Kapoor (IPS: 1990: HY) has been appointed as Director General, Indo-Tibetan Border Police, at Level-17 of the Pay Matrix, from the date of assumption of charge till 31.10.2026 or until further orders, vice Praveen Kumar.
Anupam Anand (IAS: 2000: GJ) has been appointed as Joint Secretary, IN-SPACe, Ahmedabad, under the Department of Space, for a tenure of five years from the date of assumption of charge or until further orders, vice Lochan Sehra.
Aneesh Hegde (IRTS: 2014) has been appointed as Officer on Special Duty to the Minister of State for Jal Shakti & Railways (Shri V. Somanna) at the level of Deputy Secretary for a period of four years, or on co-terminus basis with the Minister, or until further orders, whichever is earlier.
Bishnu Charan Mallick (IAS: 2007: RJ), Director of Census Operations/Director of Citizen Registration, Rajasthan, has been granted extension of central deputation tenure for three months beyond 31.12.2025, with continuation of the post at the level of Joint Secretary.
Bhawna Gulati (IRS: IT: 2011), Chief Accounts Officer, Delhi Development Authority, has been prematurely repatriated to her parent cadre in the Department of Revenue, with the condition of extended cooling-off. She will be eligible for another central deputation only after 07.12.2030.
Dileep Kumar Rajput (IRSSE: 2012), presently Deputy Secretary, has been re-designated as Director in the Department of Health and Family Welfare, as a personal measure, with effect from the date of assumption of charge of the re-designated post and up to 28.12.2027, completing the admissible five-year tenure under the Central Staffing Scheme.
