Government approves two extension and two appointment in different ministeries
New Delhi: The Appointments Committee of the Cabinet has approved the proposal of the Department of Commerce for entrustment of additional charge of the post Development Commissioner (JS level), Special Economic Zone, Noida to Shri Deen Bandhu Singh, CSS, Development Commissioner, FALTA Special Economic Zone, for a period of six months w.e.f. 09.11.2025 to 08.05.2026 or till the appointment of a regular incumbent, or until further orders, whichever is the earliest.
The government has also approved the proposal of the Department of Fisheries for extension of tenure of Shri Sagar Mehra, CSS, Joint Secretary, Department of Fisheries for a period beyond 10.03.2026 till the date of his superannuation i.e. up to 30.06.2026 or until further orders, whichever is earlier.
The Government has approved the proposal of the Ministry of Home Affairs for:
1-appointment of Shri Anand Swaroop, IPS (UP:1992), presently working as DG(I), NHRC as Special Secretary (Internal Security) in Ministry of Home Affairs. He has replaced Shri Praveen Vashista, IPS (BH:1991) from the date of assumption of charge of the post and up to 31.08.2029 i.e. date of his superannuation or until further orders, whichever is earlier; and
2-appointment of Ms. Anupama Nilekar Chandra, IPS (BH:1994), presently working as Special Director General in Sashastra Seema Bal as Director General (Investigation) in National Human Rights Commission (NHRC). He has replaced Shri Anand Swaroop, IPS (UP:1992) from the date of charge the post and up to 31.03.2031 i.e. date of her superannuation or until further order, whichever is earlier.
