Government approves premature repatriation of Shri Pankaj Gupta, ITS officer to his parent cadre

New Delhi: The Appointments Committee or the Cabinet has approved the proposal for premature repatriation of Shri Pankaj Gupta, Indian Telecommunication Service officer of 1995-batch, CVO, Directorate of Ordnance (Coordination & Services) (DOO(C&S)), Kanpur to his parent cadre with the condition of extended 'cooling-off’.

Mr. Gupta has joined as Chief Vigilance Officer of Directorate of Ordnance (Coordination & Services) with effect from 1st November 2023 under Department of Defence Production, Ministry of Defence.

He is B.Tech in Electronics & Communication and Post Graduate in Computer Science & Technology from IIT Roorkee (erstwhile University of Roorkee). He has also done MBA in Marketing Management.

He is an Indian Telecommunication Officer of 1995 Batch and has got multiple  experience in various domains of Telecom Management, Administration, Personnel and Vigilance.

He has also worked on deputation as Director of Vigilance (DoV) in South Delhi Municipal Corporation (SDMC) under Delhi Government.

He also served as Chief Vigilance Officer of DPSUs namely AWEIL, IOL, GIL & TCL.
