The Appointments Committee of the Cabinet has approved extensions of central deputation for senior IAS officers and cleared the repatriation of an Additional Secretary to his parent cadre on personal grounds.

NEW DELHI: The Appointments Committee of the Cabinet has approved the proposal of the Department of Drinking Water & Sanitation for extension of central deputation tenure of Ms. Aishvarya Singh, IAS (SK:2008), Joint Secretary, Department of Drinking Water & Sanitation for a period of one year beyond 05.02.2026 or until further orders, whichever is earlier.

The government has also approved the proposal of the Ministry of Home Affairs for extension of central deputation tenure of Shri M Ramachandrudu, IAS (BH: 2009), Director of Census Operations (OCO)/Director of Citizen Registration (OCR), Bihar under the Ministry or Home Affairs for a period of three months beyond 31.12.2025 or until further orders, whichever is earlier, by continuing the upgradation of the post presently held by the officer to the level of Joint Secretary.

Furthermore, it has approved repatriation of Shri Subodh Yadav, IAS (KN:99), Additional Secretary, Department of Water Resources, River Development & Ganga Rejuvenation, Ministry of Jal Shakti to his parent cadre on personal grounds.
