Senior IPS Officer GP Singh appointed as DG of CRPF
His tenure will continue until his superannuation on November 30, 2027.
The Appointments Committee of the Cabinet (ACC) has appointed G.P. Singh (IPS: 1991: AM), who currently serves as the Director General of Police (DGP) in Assam, to the position of Director General of the Central Reserve Police Force (CRPF).
His tenure will continue until his superannuation on November 30, 2027.
Additionally, Vipul Kumar (IPS: 1993: UP), who is the Special Director General of the CRPF, has been appointed as the officiating Director General of the CRPF following the retirement of Anish Dayal Singh (IPS: 1988: MA) on December 31, 2024.
