Sonal Mishra (IAS) appointed as Chief Labour Commissioner at Ministry of Labour & Employment
New Delhi: IAS officer, Ms. Sonal Mishra has been appointed as Chief Labour Commissioner (Central) at Ministry of Labour and Employment in the rank and pay of Additional Secretary, Government of India. She is an IAS officer of Gujarat cadre of 1997-batch.
Ms. Mishra serves as Additional Secretary to Government in New Delhi. She holds an M.B.A. in Finance from Manipal University, LL.B. in Law from University of Delhi, and B.A. Honours in Economics from University of Delhi. Fluent in English, Gujarati, and Hindi, she is currently posted in the Ministry of Skill Development and Entrepreneurship (MSDE).
