BEL's Ghaziabad Unit Donates 20 E-Vehicles to Ayodhya

The e-vehicles were officially handed over during a ceremony attended by Mr. Vikraman N, Director of HR at BEL; Mr. Jitendra Singh, GM of DCCS at BEL-Ghaziabad; Mr. Girish Pati Tripathi, the Hon’ble Mayor of Ayodhya; and Mr. Jayendra Kumar, the Municipal Commissioner.  

These eco-friendly vehicles aim to improve Ayodhya's solid waste management system. The main benefits of the e-vehicles include:  

Eco-friendly: They are battery-operated with zero carbon emissions.  

Low Cost: They are cheaper to operate than traditional vehicles.  

Noise-free: Their quiet operation reduces noise pollution.  

Efficient: Their compact size lets them navigate narrow streets for door-to-door collection.  

Sustainable: This initiative supports the Government's "Swachh Bharat Mission" and promotes electric mobility.
