PESB Invites Applications for BSNL Director Consumer Fixed Access Post 2026
New Delhi: The Public Enterprises Selection Board (PESB) has invited applications for the post of Director (Consumer Fixed Access) at Bharat Sanchar Nigam Limited (BSNL). The advertisement has been issued under Advt. No. 2/2026 on the PESB website.
The selected candidate will be a member of the BSNL Board of Directors, responsible for planning, operations, and management of BSNL’s fixed line telecom network, including FTTH services, across India. The role also includes oversight of long-term business growth and customer satisfaction.
BSNL, a Schedule A Miniratna CPSE under the Department of Telecommunications, serves the entire country except Delhi and Mumbai and employs over 54,800 personnel. The company is 100% owned by the Government of India.
The post carries a pay scale of Rs 75,000 to Rs 1,00,000 with a tenure of five years or until the age of superannuation at 60 years, whichever is earlier.
Eligibility: Applicants must be engineering graduates with strong academic records. Preference will be given to candidates with specialization in Electronics, Communication, or Telecommunication and those holding an MBA or Post Graduate Management degree. Candidates should have at least five years of senior management experience in the telecom sector in the last ten years.
