Canara Bank signs Mou with Multi Commodity Exchange CCL to facilitate E-FDRs
New Delhi, 3 September: State-run Canara Bank has been looking forward to the journey towards technology-led banking. The bank has signed an MoU with Multi Commodity Exchange Clearing Corporation Limited (MCXCCL) to facilitate Electronic Fixed Deposit Receipts (e-FDRs).
The MoU was executed by Shri Alok Kumar Agarwal, Chief General Manager & Wing Head, Strategy, Resources & Government Services Wing, Canara Bank; Shri Ravish Kumar Sinha, General Manager & Vertical Head, Resources Vertical, Canara Bank; Shri Arnav Kumar Datta, Head, Collateral & Delivery & Warehousing Operations, MCXCCL; and Shri Praveen Kotian, Head, Legal, MCXCCL.
The signing took place in the presence of Shri Ranjeev Kumar, Chief General Manager & Circle Head, Circle Office, Mumbai, and Shri Dhanunjay Singh, General Manager, Circle Office, Mumbai. The collaboration marks a step towards greater digital innovation, operational efficiency, and customer-centric banking.
