Govt approves several approvals of re-designation, premature repatriation of higher officials
New Delhi, 3 September: The Competent Authority has approved the proposal of the M/o Steel for premature repatriation of Shri S. Sharad Rao, IOFS (2011), Director, M/o Steel, to his parent cadre on personal grounds with the provision of "extended cooling off."
Further, the govt also has approved the proposal for re-designation of the post of Deputy Secretary in the M/o Labour & Employment presently held by Shri Vijay Kumar Meena, ISS officer (2012), as Director, M/o Labour & Employment as a measure personal to him with effect from the date of assumption of charge of the re-designated post and for a period up to 06.03.2028, i.e., a total admissible tenure of five years under the Central Staffing Scheme.
Also, approved the proposal for re-designation of the post of Deputy Secretary in the M/o Food Processing Industries presently held by Shri Vivek Kumar Singh, CWES (2012), as Director, M/o Food Processing Industries, as a measure personal to him with effect from the date of assumption of charge of the re-designated post and for a period up to 18.04.2029, i.e., a total admissible tenure of five years under the Central Staffing scheme.
The government has also approved the proposal for re-designation of the post of Deputy Secretary in the D/o Fertilizers presently held by Shri Mukesh Meghwal, ISS officer (2012), as Director, D/o Fertilizers as a measure personal to him with effect from the date of assumption of charge of the re-designated post and for a period up to 17.03.2030, i.e., a total admissible tenure of five years under the Central Staffing Scheme.
The central deputation tenure of Shri Mukesh Meghwal, ISS officer (2012), is w.e.f. 18.03.2025.
