NALCO signs Long-Term Agreement with GAIL Ltd for reliable supply of Natural Gas

Bhubaneshwar, 3 September: State-run National Aluminium Company Ltd, the leading aluminium producing company in India, has announced that it has signed a Long-Term Gas Transmission Agreement with another Maharatna CPSE, GAIL (India) Ltd, to ensure a reliable supply of the natural gas as part of revamping furnace firing systems across the Cast House, Pot Lines, Rolling Plant, and Anode Baking Furnace at the Smelter Plant, S&P Complex, Anugola, Odisha.

To facilitate this seamless distribution, GAIL (India) Limited will establish a dedicated gas distribution station on the smelter plant premises. The gas utility CPSE, GAIL (India) Ltd, has been engaged in the supply of natural gas pipeline and distribution.

Shares of NALCO are trading higher by 0.47% at Rs 371.75 at BSE.
