NTPC Ltd gives intimation of ESG rating by ESG Risk Assessments and Insights Limited
NTPC has been assigned a score of “49” [Category: Adequate] by the aforesaid rating agency.
New Delhi, 3 September: State-run NTPC Ltd has announced that the company has received an Environmental, Social, and Governance (ESG) rating/score from ESG Risk Assessments and Insights Limited, a SEBI-registered Category-I Subscriber-Pays ESG Rating Provider.
NTPC has been assigned a score of “49” [Category: Adequate] by the aforesaid rating agency.
The Company further clarifies that ESG Risk Assessments & Insights Limited was not engaged by the Company for the aforesaid rating and that the report was prepared independently by the said agency on the basis of information available in the public domain.
Shares of NTPC Ltd are trading down by 0.045% at Rs 330.00 at BSE.
