Bank of India issues Notice for Exercise of Call Option in respect of 7.14% Tier II Bonds Series XV Record Date on 15 Sep 2026
Mumbai, 3 September 2026: India’s public sector lender, Bank of India, has announced that the bank has decided to exercise the call option on Bank of India Tier II Bonds Series XV (ISIN No. INE084A08151) and declare Tuesday, 15th September, 2026, as the record date for this purpose.
The said bonds were issued on 30th September, 2021, in pursuance of terms mentioned in the information memorandum dated 29th September, 2021. The bonds carry a coupon rate of 7.14% p.a. payable annually with a call option on 30th September, 2026.
Further, the exchange filing said, upon payment of broken period interest and call option amount (principal) by the bank on 30th September, 2026, to the holders of the bonds as of the record date, the bank's liability to the bondholders towards all their rights, including for the payment or otherwise, shall cease and stand extinguished.
