Global Schools Group Signs ₹1,051 Crore MoU with Uttar Pradesh Government to Develop Skill-Focused Campuses

New Delhi: Singapore-headquartered Global Schools Group (GSG) has signed a ₹1,051-crore Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with the Government of Uttar Pradesh to set up next generation, skill-focused K-12 schools in key growth areas of the state. The investment highlights Uttar Pradesh’s growing appeal to global investors and supports India’s vision of becoming a leading hub for education and skills development.

Under the agreement, GSG will develop up to 10 schools over the next five to eight years in Noida, Noida Extension, Greater Noida, Lucknow and the Singapore City near the upcoming Noida International Airport at Jewar. The initiative, titled Global Schools Skills Project “Deeksha”, is expected to generate approximately 6,000 direct and indirect employment opportunities while expanding access to high-quality, future-ready education.

Hon’ble Chief Minister of Uttar Pradesh, Shri Yogi Adityanath, said, “Global Schools Group has already taken giant strides in the field of education by setting up 64 campuses in 11 countries. And now, the organisation aims to bring this education excellence to Lucknow through skills-based schooling.”
