PNB Extends ₹1 Crore Aid to Family of Martyr Sudhir Narwal Under Rakshak Plus Scheme

New delhi, Feb 25, 2026: Punjab National Bank (PNB) paid heartfelt tribute to the supreme sacrifice of Late Sh. Sudhir Narwal, a martyred Army personnel and an account holder of the Bank’s Chhachrauli branch.

As a mark of deep respect and unwavering support to the bereaved family, financial assistance of ₹1 crore was extended to his wife under the PNB Rakshak Plus Scheme. The cheque was presented in Yamunanagar by Shri T. S. Pandey, Circle Head, Karnal Circle, to a family member.

Through the PNB Rakshak Plus Scheme, the Bank provides insurance cover and financial protection to eligible defence personnel, reaffirming its commitment to stand firmly with the nation’s brave hearts and their families during times of need.

Punjab National Bank expressed solidarity with the grieving family and saluted the courage, dedication and supreme sacrifice of Late Sh. Sudhir Narwal in service to the nation.
