Mahanadi Coalfields Limited (MCL) signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with the District Administration of Sambalpur for Project Sikshotthan, a move set to benefit over 41,000 elementary students on the occasion of International Day of Education.
Through this initiative, MCL will fund Rs 20.5 crores for the procurement of 20,617 dual desks across 809 elementary schools in the Sambalpur district of Odisha, enhancing the learning experience for thousands of students.
The MoU was officially signed by the Collector & DM of Sambalpur and our General Manager (CSR), reaffirming our unwavering commitment to education and brighter futures for our youth, the company posted on social media.
