NBCC Subsidiary HSCC Signs MoU with BEL

New Delhi: State-owned construction major NBCC (India) Limited has informed stock exchanges that its wholly-owned subsidiary HSCC (India) Limited has entered into a Strategic Collaboration Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with Bharat Electronics Limited (BEL) to develop a comprehensive healthcare manufacturing and services ecosystem in India.

According to the regulatory filing, the collaboration will cover a wide range of activities including manufacturing and supply of medical devices, development of healthcare IT and digital solutions, consultancy services, project execution, joint procurement, as well as annual maintenance contract (AMC) and warranty support, and advisory services.

The two public sector enterprises will execute project-specific agreements separately as per individual project requirements. NBCC clarified that the MoU was signed in the normal course of business of its subsidiary HSCC.

The company further stated that detailed information regarding the collaboration has been made available on its official website.

The strategic partnership aims to strengthen India’s healthcare infrastructure and promote integrated healthcare solutions in line with the government’s focus on domestic manufacturing and service capability.
