NHPC, NBCC Sign MoU for Residential Infrastructure Development at Jammu Regional Office
New Delhi: NHPC Limited and NBCC (India) Limited signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) on January 15, 2026, at the NHPC Regional Office, Jammu, for the construction of residential accommodation over Block-II and Block-III at NHPC’s Narwal office complex in Jammu.
The MoU was signed in the presence of K. P. Mahadevaswamy, Chairman and Managing Director, NBCC (India) Limited, and Ram Swaroop, Executive Director, NHPC Regional Office, Jammu.
The agreement was signed on behalf of NHPC by Pankaj Vashishtha, General Manager (Civil), and on behalf of NBCC (India) Limited by Mohammad Tariq, General Manager (Engineering).
As per the MoU, the project will be completed within a period of 20 months. The development is expected to significantly enhance residential facilities for NHPC personnel at the Jammu regional office.
Senior officials from both public sector enterprises were present on the occasion.
