NSIC Partners with Meta and India SME Forum to Boost MSME Digital Capacity
NSIC partners with Meta and India SME Forum to launch AI-powered digital solutions for MSMEs, supporting government schemes, compliance, credit, and digital adoption nationwide.

New Delhi: The National Small Industries Corporation (NSIC), under the Ministry of MSME, has signed a Letter of Intent (LOI) with Meta and the India SME Forum to strengthen digital capacity building for Indian MSMEs. The LOI was signed by Mr. Kartikeya Sinha (NSIC), Mr. Arun Srinivas (Meta), and Mr. Vinod Kumar (India SME Forum) in the presence of senior Ministry officials.
As part of this collaboration, an AI-powered WhatsApp chatbot will be deployed to provide MSMEs with real-time guidance on government schemes, compliance, credit, skilling, and digital onboarding.
The signing coincided with the release of the India SME Forum’s report “The State of Digitalisation in Indian MSMEs”, which surveyed 7,835 enterprises and highlighted the transformative impact of digital adoption on business growth. The event also marked one year of the Digishaastra Initiative, which has trained over 4.76 lakh entrepreneurs nationwide.
This strategic partnership reinforces NSIC’s commitment to empowering small businesses, driving MSME competitiveness, resilience, and growth through technology-led initiatives, in line with the Digital India mission.
