Dr. Chandra Bhushan Kumar is a highly accomplished IAS officer known for blending academic excellence with practical governance. He has rich experience in district administration, electoral management, urban governance, and policy implementation across Delhi, Arunachal Pradesh, and other UTs.
He assumed charge as Chief Secretary of Andaman & Nicobar Administration on 25 November 2024. As Chief Secretary, he also serves as Chairman of ANIIDCO, playing a key role in the holistic and sustainable development of the islands through infrastructure, tourism, fisheries, and other economic initiatives.
