NTPC Renewable Energy Gives ₹1,338 Crore Solar Project to Bondada Engineering

Hyderabad, June 2026: NTPC Renewable Energy Limited has awarded a ₹1,338.03 crore engineering, procurement and construction (EPC) package to Bondada Engineering Limited for the development of a 250 MW Solar PV project coupled with a 50 MW/200 MWh Battery Energy Storage System (BESS) at Sitapur, Uttar Pradesh.

The company disclosed the receipt of the Notification of Award (NOA) under Regulation 30 of SEBI (Listing Obligations and Disclosure Requirements) Regulations, 2015.

The project is scheduled to be completed within 18 months from the receipt of the award. The contract value of ₹1,338.03 crore, inclusive of GST, is expected to strengthen Bondada Engineering's revenue visibility and support its long-term growth.

Following the latest order, Bondada Engineering's Solar EPC order book has expanded to around 5.5 GWp, while its Battery Energy Storage System (BESS) order book has reached approximately 1.1 GWh.

According to the company, the order from one of India's leading renewable energy PSUs highlights its engineering expertise and project execution capabilities in the clean energy sector.
