EPFO rolls out initiative Employees’ Enrollment Scheme 2025 for eligible employees
Employees’ Provident Fund Organizations (EPFO) under the Ministry of Labour and Employment have rolled out an initiative called “Employees’ Enrollment Scheme 2025” to promote voluntary compliance and extend social security coverage to all eligible employees.
New Delhi: Employees’ Provident Fund Organizations (EPFO) under the Ministry of Labour and Employment have rolled out an initiative called “Employees’ Enrollment Scheme 2025” to promote voluntary compliance and extend social security coverage to all eligible employees. This initiative will provide a one-time window for employers of all establishments to voluntarily enroll eligible employees who were left out of EPF coverage between 1st July 2017 and 31st October 2025.
Employers can declare any employees engaged by them who joined between 01.07.2017 and 31.10.2025 on the EPFO portal. There shall be a waiver of the employee share in respect of such declared employees if not deducted from salary. Employers are to remit the employer’s share, interest (Section 7Q), administrative charges, and Rs 100 penal damages.

Further, the scheme remains operational for 6 months, from 1st November 2025 to 30th April 2026.
