High Commission of India Sets Up Emergency Help Desk at Colombo Airport

The Assistant High Commission of India in Kandy has announced that an Emergency Help Desk has been established at Bandaranaike International Airport (BIA), Colombo.

Indian nationals from Central, Sabaragamuwa, North Western, and Uva provinces who need assistance can contact the emergency number: +94 703619833 (also available on WhatsApp).

The mission is providing essential support, including food and water, to Indian passengers stranded at the airport.

Indian citizens in other affected regions have been advised to stay in touch with the High Commission or Consulate and to avoid going outside unless necessary.

The advisory urges all Indian nationals to stay safe.
