Labour Ministry signs MoU with Microsoft to onboard 15,000 partners on National Career Service portal, boosting youth jobs, AI skilling and career growth.

NEW DELHI: In a major boost to India’s employment ecosystem, the Ministry of Labour & Employment has signed a landmark partnership with Microsoft to expand job opportunities for millions of young Indians.
As part of this collaboration, over 15,000 Microsoft partners will now be connected to the government’s National Career Service (NCS) portal as official job providers. This move will make it easier for jobseekers to find verified, formal employment opportunities across multiple sectors.
The partnership focuses on strengthening high-growth industries, scaling AI-based skilling programs, and creating better international job pathways. It will also support India’s vision of building a future-ready workforce equipped with digital and emerging technology skills.
By combining government platforms with Microsoft’s global network, the initiative aims to create a transparent, accessible and technology-driven employment system that empowers India’s youth and accelerates economic growth.
