NHAI unveils FASTag Annual Pass at 1,150 Toll Plazas Nationwide
NHAI introduces the FASTag Annual Pass with one time payment of 3000 valid for one year or 200 toll crossings Over 1.4 lakh users registered on launch day across 1150 plazas
The National Highways Authority of India (NHAI) has successfully implemented the ‘FASTag Annual Pass’ facility at 1 thousand 150 Toll Plazas across the country on 79th Independence Day.
The Ministry of Road Transport and Highways has stated that around 1 lakh 40 thousand users have purchased and activated the annual pass till 7PM on the first day of implementation.

Almost 1 lakh 40 thousand transactions were recorded on toll plazas. The Ministry further informed that NHAI officials and Nodal officers have also been appointed at each toll plaza to ensure a smooth travel experience for the pass users.
The FASTag Annual Pass has been launched with the aim to eliminate the need to frequently recharge FASTag through a one-time fee payment of 3 thousand. The pass carries validity of one year or 200 toll plaza crossings.
The FASTag Annual Pass is applicable for all non-commercial vehicles with a valid FASTag.
