NTPC Kudgi Celebrates 79th Independence Day with Patriotic Zeal
NTPC Kudgi celebrated India’s 79th Independence Day with patriotic zeal, flag hoisting, CISF parade, cultural performances, awards distribution, and Har Ghar Tiranga campaign participation.

Vijayapura Karnataka: NTPC Kudgi celebrated the 79th Independence Day of India with great enthusiasm and patriotic fervour at Mahashaktinagar Kudgi Township. The celebrations commenced with the hoisting of the National Flag by Executive Director Shri Bidya Nand Jha, followed by an impressive parade by CISF and DGR security personnel.
In his inspiring address, the Executive Director shared NTPC Kudgi's recent performance milestones, key updates and notable achievements. He also highlighted the prestigious awards and recognitions earned by the station recently. He urged all employees and residents to actively participate in the Har Ghar Tiranga Abhiyaan by celebrating the campaign and uploading selfies with the National Flag on the official website. The occasion was further brightened by the release of tri-colour balloons by dignitaries, symbolising unity and national pride.
The cultural segment featured vibrant performances by students of Kilkari Play School, Bal Bhawan, BBPS School and ladies club, who presented patriotic songs and dances. A live demonstration by CISF personnel added a dynamic touch to the celebrations.

Awards were presented to employees, contract workers, and Health Champions for their outstanding contributions. Parade commanders and other notable contributors were also honoured for their exemplary service.

The celebrations not only honoured the nation’s 78 years of independence but also reaffirmed NTPC Kudgi’s unwavering commitment to powering progress while upholding the values of unity, service and national pride.
On this occasion, all dignitaries and particpants also joined in clicking selfies and photographs with the National Flag, reinforcing the message of unity and patriotism.
