NEW DELHI: Infrastructure major IRCON International Limited has appointed Shri Sudhir Singh as Director (Projects) with effect from January 2, 2026, following approval by its Board of Directors and pursuant to an order issued by the Ministry of Railways on December 31, 2025.

Shri Sudhir Singh, an officer of the Indian Railway Service of Engineers (IRSE) and currently serving as Executive Director / Chief Engineer (BS), Railway Board, has been entrusted with the additional charge of Director (Projects) at IRCON in addition to his existing responsibilities. He will continue in the role until further orders.

The appointment was made in compliance with Regulation 30 of the SEBI (Listing Obligations and Disclosure Requirements) Regulations, 2015. The company also confirmed that Shri Singh has not been debarred from holding the office of director by SEBI or any other statutory authority.

Extensive Experience in Major Rail Projects

Shri Sudhir Singh is a Civil Engineering graduate from IIT Roorkee (1998) and joined Indian Railways in 2000. With over 26 years of professional experience, he has played a key role in several prestigious national projects, including:

  • Udhampur–Srinagar–Baramulla Rail Link (USBRL) Project

  • Commissioning of Anand Vihar Terminal

  • Station redevelopment initiatives and asset monetization projects

  • Vendor development and quality assurance at RDSO

  • Infrastructure expansion and doubling projects across multiple regions

His leadership portfolio spans technical operations, project execution, and strategic infrastructure development, contributing significantly to the modernization and capacity enhancement of Indian Railways.

IRCON stated that Shri Singh’s appointment is expected to further strengthen the company’s project execution capabilities and accelerate the delivery of large-scale infrastructure projects across India.
