The Appointments Committee of the Cabinet has approved extension in temporary upgradation

New Delhi: The Appointments Committee of the Cabinet has approved extension in temporary upgradation of the following posts:

Extension in upgradation of the post of Joint Secretary to the level of Additional Secretary in Department of Expenditure, presently held by Shri Sajjan Singh Yadav, IAS (AGMUT:95), for a term up to 19.08.2026;

Extension in upgradation of the post of Director to the level of Additional Secretary in Ministry of Housing & Uban Affairs, presently held by Ms. D. Thara, IAS (GJ:95). for a term up to 28.07.2026;

Extension in upgradation of the post of Joint Secretary to the level of Additional Secretary in Department of Fertilizers, presenty held by Ms. Aneeta C. Meshram, IAS (UP:96), for a term up to 05.11.2026;

Extension in upgradation of the post of Joint Secretary to the level of Additional Secretary in Ministry of Tourism, presently held by Shri Suman Billa, IAS (KL:96), for a term up to 05.12.2026;

Extension in upgradation of the post of Joint Secretary to the level of Additional Secretary in Department of Personnel & Training, presently held by Shri Manoj Kumar Dwivedi, IAS (AGMUT:97), for a term up to 18.11.2026;

Extension in upgradation of the post of Joint Secretary to the level of Additional Secretary in President's Secretariat, presently held by Shri Rakesh Gupta, IAS (HY:97), for a term up to 14.09.2026;

Extension in upgradation of the post of Member (Admin), National Highways Authority of India from the level of Joint Secretary to that of Additional Secretary, presently held by Shri Vishal Chauhan, IAS (SK:98), for a term up to 05.11.2026; and

Extension in upgradation of the post of Joint Secretary to the level of Additional Secretary in Cabinet Secretariat, presently held by Shri Rahul Sharma, IAS (JH:98), for a term up to 07.11.2026.
