IRFC Appoints Alok Tiwari as Part-Time Government Nominee Director
Indian Railway Finance Corporation (IRFC) appoints Shri Alok Tiwari, Joint Secretary, Infrastructure Finance Secretariat, as Part-Time Government Nominee Director, replacing Shri Baldeo Purushartha.
New Delhi: Indian Railway Finance Corporation Limited (IRFC), a Government of India enterprise, has appointed Shri Alok Tiwari, Joint Secretary, Infrastructure Finance Secretariat, Department of Economic Affairs, as a Part-Time Government Nominee Director on its Board. This appointment comes in place of Shri Baldeo Purushartha and is effective immediately, continuing until further orders or as long as Shri Tiwari holds the position of Joint Secretary.
The Ministry of Railways communicated this change through its order No. 2022/PL/57/10 dated December 3, 2025, which was received by IRFC on December 4, 2025. IRFC has initiated all necessary formalities to complete the appointment and ensure timely disclosure as per SEBI Listing Regulations, 2015.
