ITI Limited Director HR gets Extension
ACC approves a 1-year extension for Smt. S Jeyanthi as Director (HR) of ITI Limited, effective from February 28, 2025. She also holds the post of Director (Production).
New Delhi: The Appointments Committee of the Cabinet (ACC) has approved the proposal of the Department of Telecommunication for ex-post facto approval for extension of additional charge of the post of Director (HR), ITI Limited, assigned to Smt S Jeyanthi, Director (Production), ITI Limited.
The Ministry of Communications, Government of India, in Order dated 23rd April.2025, conveyed that ACC has approved the proposal for extension of additional charge of the post Director (HR), ITI Limited assigned to S Jeyanthi for a further period of 1 year w.e.f 28.02.2025 or until further orders, whichever is the earliest.
Currently, she is holding both the charges in ITI Limited as Director (Production) and Director (HR), additional charge. Earlier, her extension on 28th February 2025, which has been approved, was only for 3 months from 28.02.2024 to 27.05.2025. In a recent order, the extension has been done for a year.

Who is Smt S Jeyanthi- Director (Production), and Director HR (Addl Charge), ITI Limited
Smt S Jeyanthi had initially joined the Board as Director HR (Addl Charge) on 28th February 2023 and was later appointed as Director Production w.e.f. 19t May 2023. Smt S Jeyanthi had started her career in ITI Bangalore Plant as Assistant Executive Engineer in 1989 and thereafter held various positions in the Production area. Smt S Jeyanthi has rich experience of more than 3 decades of handling the Production of Telecom and allied products. Smt. S Jeyanthi was promoted as General Manager-Production of Palakkad Unit during 2021.
Smt S Jeyanthi has successfully upgraded the Production facilities of the Bangalore Plant and executed prestigious orders for Defence and ISRO. Smt S Jeyanthi is a B.E in Electronics and Communication Engineering Graduate from Mepco Schlenk Engineering College, Sivakasi, Tamil Nadu.
