Shri Ravi A Robert J. Ravi Assigned Additional Charge of CMD BSNL and CMD MTNL
The Department of Telecommunications has extended the additional charge of CMD BSNL and CMD MTNL to Shri Ravi A Robert J. Ravi for three months till 14 October 2025. The appointment is approved by the Appointments Committee of the Cabinet.
Department of Telecommunications, Ministry of Dispatches, approved the extension of the responsibilities of CMD BSNL, CMD MTNL, and CMD BBNL to Shri Ravi A. Robert J. Ravi, DDG, DoT. The term lasts three months, from 15 July 2025 to 14 October 2025, or until the regular contestant takes over, whichever comes first.

The Cabinet's Appointments Committee has approved the offer, with the complete order communicated through DoPT ACC communication No. 24/01/2019-EO(ACC). During this time, Shri Ravi A. Robert J. Ravi will not receive any additional pay. MTNL also informed BSE and NSE about the extension of his responsibilities, following Regulation 30 of SEBI(LODR) Regulations, 2015.
