ACC approves appointment of S K Sinha for the post of Director (Operations), HCL
New Delhi (07.03.2025): The Appointments Committee of the Cabinet (ACC) has appointed Sanjeev Kumar Sinha, Deputy General Manager (DGM), NMDC Limited, to the post of Director (Operations), Hindustan Copper Limited (HCL) for five years.
Hindustan Copper Limited (HCL) is a public sector enterprise under the Ministry of Mines, Government of India. Established in 1967, it is the only vertically integrated copper-producing company in India, involved in activities ranging from mining to beneficiation, smelting, refining, and casting of refined copper metal. HCL plays a crucial role in meeting the country's copper requirements and contributes significantly to the mining and metals sector.
Prior to his role Sanjeev Kumar Sinha served as Deputy General Manager at NMDC Limited. With extensive experience in the mining sector, Mr. Sinha is expected to bring valuable expertise to HCL's operational strategies
