Oil India Announces Change of Government Nominee Director on Board
Assam, March 9, 2026: Oil India Limited has announced a change in its board of directors following approval from the Ministry of Petroleum & Natural Gas (MoP&NG).
The ministry, via letter no. CA-310221112021-CA-PNG(37493) dated March 9, 2026, has approved the nomination of Shri Bhupinder Kumar, Director, MoP&NG, as the Government Nominee Director on the board of Oil India Limited, replacing Shri Rohit Mathur, Joint Secretary, MoP&NG.
Board Update
Effective immediately, Rohit Mathur [DIN: 08216731] has ceased to be a director of the company. The board will induct Bhupinder Kumar as the Government Nominee Director in accordance with the provisions of the Companies Act, 2013 and the SEBI (Listing Obligations and Disclosure Requirements) Regulations, 2015. Necessary disclosures will be made post-induction.
