Ms. Sarika Aggarwal Synrem Joins RailTel as CVO

Ms. Sarika Aggarwal Synrem has joined RailTel Corporation of India Ltd., a Navratna CPSE under the Ministry of Railways, as its new Chief Vigilance Officer (CVO). A distinguished civil servant from the 2001 batch of the Indian Defence Accounts Service, Ms. Synrem brings with her over two decades of wide-ranging experience in financial management, governance, institutional strengthening, and public administration.

New Delhi: Ms. Sarika Aggarwal Synrem has joined RailTel Corporation of India Ltd., a Navratna CPSE under the Ministry of Railways, as its new Chief Vigilance Officer (CVO). A distinguished civil servant from the 2001 batch of the Indian Defence Accounts Service, Ms. Synrem brings with her over two decades of wide-ranging experience in financial management, governance, institutional strengthening, and public administration. Known for her integrity, people-centric approach, and commitment to ethical governance, she has earned numerous academic and professional accolades over the years.

Ms. Synrem has served in key leadership positions across the Defence Accounts Department, Government of Meghalaya, Indian Army, and Indian Air Force. Her work spans strengthening financial and audit mechanisms, guiding major capital acquisition processes, driving administrative reforms, and contributing to national initiatives such as the OROP pension revision and GST Council-led GoMs.
