Shri Rajeev Kumar Gangele Deputed to RVNL as GM (S&T)

The Ministry of Railways has approved the transfer of Shri Rajeev Kumar Gangele, IRSEE, to Rail Vikas Nigam Limited (RVNL) as the General Manager for Signal and Telecommunication in Secunderabad. The Railway Board has issued a formal order, which is addressed to the General Manager of South Central Railway in Secunderabad.

Shri Gangele is from the 2002 batch of the Indian Railway Service of Signal Engineers (IRSSE). He will serve on transfer for five years or until further notice, whichever comes first. The transfer will follow the standard terms: parent pay plus a transfer allowance, depending on government approval for an exemption from the immediate absorption rule for RVNL.

The order is dated 25 July 2025 and was signed by Shri Ravi Shekhar, Joint Secretary (D) of the Railway Board in New Delhi. The South Central Railway has been asked to release Shri Gangele so he can begin his new role.

The communication has also been sent to the Chairman and Managing Director of RVNL, along with other senior officials, including the CRB and CEO, and directors from different branches of the Railway Board.
