BEL contributes 5.45 Crores to PM CARES Fund to combat COVID-19 second wave
BEL is also utilising Rs. 4 Crores of its CSR Fund to set up Medical Oxygen Generation Plants in 12 Government hospitals in six states to ramp up their oxygen requirement and help ease the current crisis across the country.
New Delhi: Navratna Defence PSU Bharat Electronics Limited (BEL) has contributed Rs. 5.45 Crores from its CSR (Corporate Social Responsibility) Fund to the PM CARES Fund, in support of the Government’s concerted efforts in dealing with the challenges arising out of the raging second wave of the COVID-19 pandemic.
BEL is also utilising Rs. 4 Crores of its CSR Fund to set up Medical Oxygen Generation Plants in 12 Government hospitals in six states to ramp up their oxygen requirement and help ease the current crisis across the country.
BEL is putting in all efforts to support the country’s war against COVID-19. Last year, the Company had released Rs.10 Crores from its CSR Fund towards the PM CARES Fund, to combat and contain the pandemic in India and also for relief efforts.
