BEL's Export Manufacturing SBU won Project of the Year for Ventilator project
The SBU received the award in recognition of the successful completion of the Ventilator project, wherein BEL manufactured 30,000 CV200 ICU Ventilators to combat the COVID-19 pandemic.

New Delhi: The Export Manufacturing SBU of BEL has won the Project Management Institute (PMI) South Asia “Project of the Year - Large Category (Runner Up)” Award at the Project Management South Asia Conference 2023 (PMSAC-2023) held at ITC Grand Chola, Chennai, from September 2-3, 2023.
BEL emerged as one of the finalists for the prestigious award competing with MNCs and other prominent organisations from South Asia region like L&T, TATA, Bosch, IOCL, etc, after four levels of rigorous screening by the jury panel consisting of 24 members, all of whom are practising Project Management Professionals.

The SBU received the award in recognition of the successful completion of the Ventilator project, wherein BEL manufactured 30,000 CV200 ICU Ventilators to combat the COVID-19 pandemic.
BEL took on the challenge of producing 30,000 ICU ventilators in just 90 days, despite having no prior experience in manufacturing critical care equipment. This pro-active effort led to the creation of a new healthcare business vertical in BEL.
