BPCL, Kochi Refinery hosts 3 Institutes at 6th session of Azadi Ka Amrit Mahotsav study tour
Bharat Petroleum Kochi Refinery hosts National Institute of Technology, Calicut, Jyothi Engineering College, Thrissur and Muthoot Institute of Technology & Science, Ernakulam at the 6th session of the Azadi Ka Amrit Mahotsav study tour for colleges to the biggest PSU Refinery under the aegis of the Ministry of Petroleum & Natural Gas.
Mr. Chacko M Jose, Chief General Manager (Operations) was the chief guest and he presented the certificate of participation to the representatives of institutions along with Mr. George Thomas, General Manager (PR & Admn).
At the Meet the Leader session, Mr.Chacko M Jose interacted at length with the students about the hydrocarbon industry and transitions in the energy scenario. He also shared about the importance of teamwork and continuous learning that are key components while going up the career ladder.
The students were given presentations on the Refinery processes, strategic businesses, sustainability initiatives, and latest developments in the industry by internal resource persons Aadhil Ahamed, Kavitha Mathew, Salvin Babu Joseph, Thomas TB, and Sethu Nandan.
