C-DOT signs MoU with Delhi Police to deploy smart policing technologies
New Delhi, March 28, 2026: The Centre for Development of Telematics (C-DOT), under the Department of Telecommunications, Government of India, has signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with Delhi Police to enhance operational efficiency, secure communications, and future-ready law enforcement capabilities through indigenous technology.
This collaboration supports the vision of Atmanirbhar Bharat, enabling Delhi Police to leverage advanced homegrown solutions for public safety, surveillance, cybersecurity, and quantum-resilient communications.
Key technological solutions to be deployed
C-DOT will implement nine advanced solutions specifically designed for modern policing:

Facial Recognition System (FRS)/FraudPro – Identifies suspects, missing persons, and repeat offenders for investigations and crowd monitoring.

SAMVAD – Secure unified communication platform for audio/video calls, messaging, and data sharing across units.

SAMVAD Prime – Specialized secure messaging handsets for senior officers and operational teams.

C-DOT Meet – Web-based secure video conferencing with multi-camera access, presentation sharing, and collaborative tools.

Mission Critical Services (MCX) – Low-latency, secure communications for emergency and law-and-order operations.

Intelligent Attendance System – Facial recognition-based attendance and access control for police installations.

Cell Broadcast Solution – Geo-targeted alerts for public advisories, traffic, and emergency notifications.

Trinetra ESOC & Trinetra 360 – AI-powered cybersecurity, threat monitoring, digital risk management, and brand monitoring.

Quantum Security Solutions – Compact Encryption Module (CEM), Quantum Secure Smart Video Phone (QSSVIP), and Quantum Key Distribution (QKD) for future-ready secure communications.
