Coal India organizes seminar on Emerging Trends in Drilling and Blasting

Kolkata: A seminar on “Emerging trends in drilling and blasting with credible solution to challenges” was organized at Coal India HQ. in Kolkata.
Shri P.M. Prasad, Chairman, Coal India Ltd. (CIL), while inaugurating the seminar, emphasized on importance of the topic for the advancement and safety of the mining industry.
He stated that drilling & blasting constitute significant unit operations in large opencast mines and underscored the need for the adoption of recent global trends for this critical operation.
