Eastern Railway recently announced a historic milestone in its operations, achieving the highest-ever freight loading in its esteemed history. With an astounding 85.65 million tonnes of freight loaded in the current financial year of 2023-24, Eastern Railway has surpassed its previous record of 78.73 million tonnes of last financial year 2022-23, showcasing an impressive growth trajectory and unwavering commitment to excellence.
