As part of their training in Labour Bureau Chandigarh, the Officer Trainees (OTs) of the 2023 Batch of Indian Statistical Service (ISS) learnt about the processing of price data and compilation of CPI-IW & Repeated House Rent Survey.
They were also made familiar with labour statistics in India and the Acts under which it is being collected. Subsequently, the OTs had a hands-on session on compiling CPI-Indices.
The training programme concluded with a valedictory address by Shri Bharat Bhushan, DDG, Labour Bureau.
