Karur Vysya Bank inaugurated 3 new branches
Chennai: Karur Vysya Bank inaugurated three new branches - two in Tamil Nadu and one in Andhra Pradesh on 31st January 2024. With this, the total branch network of the Bank increased to 834.
MATHUR, Chennai, Tamil Nadu (834th branch) inaugurated by Dr. B. Purushothaman, M.A., B.L, M.Sc, B.Ed, M.Com, M.Phil, M.B.A, D.Litt, Senior Principal, Everwin Group of Schools, Chennai
The new branches that were opened are:
ATMAKUR, Nandayal District, Andhra Pradesh (832nd Branch) inaugurated by Shri. P. Sreenivasa Rao, P.G.D.U.P.L, Municipal Commissioner, Atmakur
USILAMPATTI, Madurai District, Tamil Nadu (833rd Branch) inaugurated by Shri. J. Gandhi, Municipal Commissioner, Usilampatt

The Bank has built its financials around three pillars – Growth, Profitability and Asset Quality. The bank’s total business was Rs. 1,58,357 crores as on 31.12.2023 with a deposit base of Rs. 85,665 cr. and advances at Rs. 72,692 cr. The bank posted net profit of Rs. 412 cr. in Q3 2023-24. The Net Profit for the 9 – month period from 01.04.2023 to December, 2023 was at Rs. 1149 cr. Other key financial ratios include Net NPA – 0.42%, NIM – 4.32%, and PCR – 94.81% in the said quarter.
